Dave Viklund Herding Clinic September 5-7, 2025

HH, Robertsville, MO 63072 Gateway ASC will again host a three-day cattle, sheep and duck clinic September 13-15 at Bettie Kinsley’s farm about 15 minutes south of Purina with Dave Viklund as the clinician. GASC members who have completed their club service hours will have priority for working slots until 8/22/25. After that date, any others interested in attending will be accepted in the order they are received until the clinic fills. The clinic will begin at 8 AM each day and will wrap up somewhere around 6 PM. Cattle, sheep and ducks are being offered, with access to a round pen, small sorting pens (for sheep), a 120x200 trial-type arena, 200x350 and the large field for “B Field” work for sheep or cattle. The cost of a working slot for each three-day clinic is $425. Auditing is $35/day for non-GASC members. Free auditing to GASC members. Please RSVP to audit. The clinic is limited to 12 working slots with unlimited auditing. Handlers will get two working slots each day. GASC will provide water and snacks. If you want to contribute a favorite snack or dessert, please do so. We will make coffee in the morning and bottled water will be provided. As is the rule for most clinicians, no videotaping at the clinic. Dave Viklund Private Lessons
Monday September 8, 2025 Following the clinic, Dave will be available for private lessons. Each lesson is 45 minutes. Cost is $65.00/lesson. GASC members who have completed their club service hours will have priority for working slots until 8/22/25. After that date, any others interested in attending will be accepted in the order they are received until slots fill. A total of 8 slots will be offered.
